Bears upend defending Superbowl Champs Cibola East and move to 6-0

La Cueva's offense put together solid drives in both halves and DJ McDowell led the defense with a 40+ yard punt return for a touchdown in Saturday's win over defending Superbowl Champion Cibola East, ending their undefeated season.

Bryson Fabrizio's 75+ yard scramble from deep within Bear territory set up a Makaio Frazier TD pass to Michael Callaway. Noah Johnson added to his season point total with the first of his three Point After kicks of the day. Bryson Fabrizio showed that he could also catch the ball with the second longest play from scrimmage with a 40+ yard reception for a touchdown in the fourth quarter to put the game out of reach.
Cibola East's Marcus Steele was able to put points on the board in the fourth quarter with a touchdown pass along the left-side in the fourth quarter, ending La Cueva Defense's claim of keeping all opponents out of the endzone this year. Thomas Judkins blocked the PAT. -- Game Notes and photos
